A man was shot and killed at an apartment building near Hector P. Garcia Middle School Thursday morning.
The shooting happened at about 1:40 a.m. in the 300 block of North Ewing. Officers found the injured victim lying behind the apartments, and he later died at the hospital.
The victim’s name has not been released.
