“All Crime No Cattle,” a Texas-based crime podcast from the Stitcher network, did three episodes about Charles Albright.

Albright, dubbed the “Texas Eyeball Killer,” was found guilty in 1991 in one of a string of Oak Cliff murders. Between December 1990 and February 1991, three prostitutes were found murdered and dumped on abandoned lots in Oak Cliff. All of them had their eyes removed with surgical precision.

For all the gory details, read Dallas-based journalist Skip Hollandsworth’s 1993 Texas Monthly story about the case.
