Dolly Python vintage store to open Bishop Arts outpost

One of Dallas’ coolest vintage stores is coming to Bishop Arts.

Dolly Python, which opened on North Haskell Avenue in East Dallas in 2005, leased the former Green Pet space, in the building that houses Hunky’s.

The original Dolly will remain open. This one is Dolly on Bishop.

“We are excited about the community and everything that’s happening in and around there,” writes owner Gretchen Bell, in a social media announcement. “We will be selling (and buying) antiques, vintage clothing, jewelry and cowboy boots.”

Bell and her husband, Benny Hinkle, also own Benny Jack Antiques. They were featured in the August 2017 Advocate for their intriguing collections.

The shop is expected to open in May.
