95-year-old pistol whipped when he answered the door to strangers

Hector Enriquez

Update: Police arrested Hector Enriquez Monday.

Juan Flores answered the door to his El Tivoli area home and was hit in the head with a gun and then robbed last week.

Police arrested Danielle Lozano, 38, and charged her with aggravated robbery. She is in jail pending a $25,000 bond.

They’re still looking for Hector Enriquez, 27, who is also suspected in the crime.

Flores, 95, opened the door to two people who attacked him, and he wasn’t seriously injured. But his children want him to move out of his house now.

“He doesn’t understand why people can just come in his house, lie to him and then steal his money and pistol whip him,” his son Samuel Flores told KXAS.
