Maybe the idea of Irish food doesn’t get you out of bed in the morning, but what if that Irish food is tacos?
An Irish pub opened on West Davis last week, and its menu features a list of Irish tacos.
The one pictured above is made with beer-battered cod, coleslaw, pico de gallo and sriracha mayo. But Cannon’s Corner also offers an Irish curry taco, with chicken curry, rice and pico de gallo on a flour tortilla. There’s the scotch egg taco and a veggie taco with sauté cabbage, mushrooms and artichokes. Plus the Dublin, Texas, which has corned beef, onions and barbecue sauce in a flour tortilla.
At happy hour, from 2-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, the tacos are $3-$5.
The restaurant also serves shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage and traditional Irish breakfast all day. The bar has 25 Irish beers on tap and 200 labels of whiskey.
