Look: Kidd Springs Park pool grand opening

The brand-new $4.5-million Kidd Springs Park “aquatics center” is now open.

It has a lap pool, a kids pool and a splash pool for two big slides, plus new restrooms with showers and a snack bar.

The pool also has plenty of shade and seating, and more picnic tables are expected to be added to the grassy area once new grass takes hold.

Admission costs $4 for kids 11 and younger and $6 for anyone 12 or older. A season pass to Kidd Springs, which also allows access to the Martin Weiss and Tietze Park pools, costs $50.
