Amegy Bank is coming soon. The Houston-based bank announced its expansion into southern Dallas last year, under the leadership of Carlos Munguia, who is the bank’s president of the Dallas region. Munguia also sits on the board of the UNT System.

Amegy has about 75 locations, all in Texas, with about 1,600 employees and $13 billion in assets. The bank was founded in 1990 and was acquired in 2005 by Utah-based Zions Bancorporation.
