These photos of a Christmas party among seamstresses at the Downtown Neiman Marcus store came into our grubby little hands from an Oak Cliff estate sale this past summer.

They were processed in December 1975, and I think the woman in the green jacket is Rose Thomas, according to what’s written on the back. We wonder if she whipped up that jacket just for this party.

We’re not sure who is whom, but here are the other names written on the backs of the photos: Dolly Greathouse, Grace Brooks, Sharon Sanders, Pearlsi Price, Clara Steinberg, and two we can’t read, but maybe P. Hoffew and something Castaner. Could it be someone from the espadrille Castañer family?

Let us know if you recognize anyone in these snapshots.
