Household hazardous waste should never go in your regular trash or recycling.
Batteries, motor oil and oil filters, latex paint and antifreeze should be taken to the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center on Plano Road (see below for times). But the city’s mobile “BOPA” collection unit will be in our neighborhood Saturday, Feb. 8.
Bring as much as 25 gallons of that stuff to the North Oak Cliff Library from 8-11 a.m. Bring something, such as a drivers license or utility bill, showing that you live in Dallas.
