Everybody say “happy birthday” to Black Taffy.
The Oak Cliff-based musician, also known as Donovan Jones, has a new album, “Opal Wand,” and Bandcamp named it the album of the day for May 7, which also happens to be the man’s born day.
Jones was signed to Leaving Records last year, and we also love his previous release on that label, “Elder Mantis.”
