Oak Cliff had Fourth of July vibes on Wednesday morning as the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels squadron flew over the city as a salute to healthcare workers.

If you didn’t know, the Blue Angels are a demonstration squadron that performs at airshows every year and a recruiting tool for the Navy, which budgeted $37.5 million to them this year. This was considered a training flight, and the cost is included in their budget.

Some of the Methodist Dallas Medical Center employees watched the airshow from the roof of a parking garage. Methodist employee Misty Martinez sent us these photos.
