Xamán Cafe is opening soon at 334 W. Jefferson, in the space next to Top Ten Records, where there were once plans for a pinball-machine arcade and bar.

The cafe from Gerardo Barrera focuses on Mexican coffee culture. Xamán will serve a menu inspired by the cuisine of southern and central Mexico, plus there’s a speakeasy serving coffee martinis and other coffee plus booze concoctions.

From the families that tend the land, to those who cultivate and process this rich resource…we hope you join us soon as we welcome generations of tradition culminating in our single origin specialty coffee experience!

Community and cultural awareness are at the heart of our mission. We welcome you to stop by and grow this experience...
