Security cameras caught an act of animal cruelty on a remote road west of Loop 12 last month.
Police say a man in a light-color extended-cab pickup abandoned a “German shepherd-type dog” in the 1700 block of South Merrifield Road at about 8 p.m. on Dec. 19.
