Update: The DSO canceled the June 3 concert because of expected rain, but they invited the community to an indoor concert at Cliff Temple Baptist Church on June 10.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra returns to Kidd Springs Park next week, if the weather holds up.
The symphony will provide patriotic and pop-culture tunes that are fun for the family. The event is Thursday, June 3 at 8:15 p.m. Bring a blanket and a picnic.
If it rains, the concert will be canceled. But there’s another opportunity: The symphony also plays a free outdoor concert at Paul Quinn College on Tuesday, June 15 at 8:15 p.m. If that’s a rainout, they’ll hold it inside the gym.
