Mission Oak Cliff at Cliff Temple Baptist Church already has the 2021-2022 school year in view.
The nonprofit’s annual back-to-school event provides school supplies and backpacks to hundreds of students every year, and you can help. Last year, they served 300 students, and this year the goal is 500.
Mission Oak Cliff started their school-supply drive in 1995. They’re seeking sponsors to help pay for school supplies, and they’re also accepting new supplies. To become a sponsor, contact Travis Aune, travis@clifftemple.org.
Or drop off supplies at the church from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday through July 31, the day of the event, which also includes a free kids carnival.
