French toast doughnut from the Salty Donut
It doesn’t matter how you celebrate national doughnut on Friday, June 4, as long as you celebrate it.
But the Salty Donut in Bishop Arts has a special to commemorate the 83-year-old holiday.
It’s a French toast doughnut, described like this: “24-hour brioche filled with whipped french toast custard, maple glaze, topped with crunchy french toast pieces, mascarpone whip + maple drizzle.”
The shop will also have doughnut-day balloons and giveaways, plus a 40% discount on merchandise in store and online.
