Raising Oak Cliff is putting on a weeklong neighborhood scavenger hunt to raise money for its mission to support local parents and schools.
Ready, Set, Go Cliff starts today, Aug. 6, and culminates in a back-to-school party at Another Round mini golf on Saturday, Aug. 14.
Methodist Dallas Medical Center and small businesses in Oak Cliff donated activities and prizes to hunt down throughout the neighborhood.
A $50 ticket buys access to an app with all of the scavenger hunt instructions and admission to the party. Tickets to the party ($20 for adults and $10 for kids) include a round of golf and can be purchased separately for anyone who wants to skip the scavenger hunt. The event will also include T-shirt tie-dyeing provided by Methodist and an activity from Oil & Cotton. There’s also an outdoor space for social distancing.
“There are a lot of great prizes from local businesses,” says Raising Oak Cliff president Amanda Reiter. “I’m really impressed with how the community came together for this.”
