The Dallas Police Department arrested a 62-year-old man who is accused in a mid-morning shooting that left a woman dead Monday.
Robert Lee Grant Jr. has been charged with murder in the death of the woman, who police haven’t yet identified, pending notification of her family.
Police responded to a shooting call at 10 a.m. Monday in the 2300 block of Alabama and found the woman lying on the floor of a house with a single gunshot wound.
She had been in an altercation with another woman before Grant shot her, police say.
Grant is in the Dallas County jail with bond set at $500,000.
