Oak Cliff’s own Sha’Carri Richardson was enshrined in the Halloween hall of fame this year.

The 21-year-old sprinter, who is the sixth-fastest woman of all time, is a Carter High School graduate, and this Oct. 31, she got her flowers.

Richardson became a household name this summer after she clocked 10.86 seconds in the 100 meters in the Olympic trials in Oregon but then was booted from the United States team because she tested positive for marijuana.

She was also invited to the Met Gala and was featured in Vogue in September.
