The testing site is at the Advantage Health Care Systems clinic across the street from Methodist Hospital. That’s 214 West Colorado

It is free if 1. you have insurance or 2. you have symptoms or have been exposed.

Otherwise testing runs $100-$150 for the RC-PTR test and rapid antigen test, respectively. You will need to submit your own insurance reimbursement, but, hear me now, if you have symptoms the test is free.

There are self-pay options for air-travel testing for $125 and antigen testing for $49. Here is a list of all the options.

You will need to go here to apply and make an appointment.

Today,  Thursday, Jan. 6, I made a same-hour appointment.

We’re talking practically instantaneous — I saw their COVID Testing wrap on the side of a truck, parked in the lot, pulled up the website on my phone, filled out the application and had a swab up my nose 10 minutes later.

They promised to email results within 24 hours. That’s the only part I cannot verify for you yet, but I will update this post as soon as I can vouch for that 24-hour turnaround.
