Faith Family Academy pulled a fun stunt for charity at a basketball game last week.
Admission was free to the Feb. 15 game at the school’s Teddy J. Purcell Court to anyone bearing a new stuffed toy.
The teddy-bear toss, held at halftime, collected over 750 toys, which will be donated to For Oak Cliff, Dallas Fire Rescue, the Waxahachie Police Department and Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Varsity boys basketball players and the school’s dance team will visit those locations to deliver the teddy bears personally.
