An art show at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center kicks off 214Selena, a thee-day tribute to the Queen of Tejano on March 25.
Our city’s annual celebration of Selena Quintanilla started about nine years ago with an art and car show at the Selena shrine that is Country Burger.
This year’s events include a vendor market at Four Corners Brewing on Saturday, March 26, featuring karaoke, lotería, a Selena lookalike contest, a lowrider show and live music. Then the turn-up is that night at Club Dada.
The party returns to Oak Cliff on Sunday, March 27, with vendors, lowriders, art and DJs at Top Ten Records.
