Bishop Nights returns St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday March 17. Gather near Written By the Seasons restaurant for face painters, balloon artists and photo ops from 6-8 p.m. Festivities will be back each third Thursday for the foreseeable future.
Mermaid Bar at Paradiso is open Wednesdays – Sundays.
Also back for spring, Mermaid Raw Bar and Champaign Room, a pop-up lounge at Paradiso that last weekend hosted a grand re-opening, at which mermaids served oysters and pink cocktails.
Shop vintage goods at Dolly Python and maybe spot a pop star. Dua Lipa was in a few days ago, the shop posted on Insta.
And a new-retro boutique Bella & Brawn is open.
Also, in case you didn’t know, because every time I mention it people express surprise, there is an adult novelty shop right around the corner from Bishop, on Davis, it is called Bad Baby’s, a women owned, LGBTQ+ friendly, “clean, comfortable, happy, helpful, non-judgmental shopping experience with something for everybody.”
