A man was killed in a shooting Monday night at the 7-Eleven on Hampton at Clarendon.
Vincent Gomez, 25, has been charged with murder in the death of 38-year-old David Garcia. Gomez was also wanted in a 2020 murder case, the Dallas Police Department told the Dallas Morning News.
Garcia and Gomez were arguing, and a third person shot Garcia as he was walking out of the store, according to the newspaper. Gomez and the shooter took off in a vehicle, which crashed a few blocks away. Police found Gomez in the car along with a 14-year-old girl. The shooter got away, and the status of the girl is unknown.

Gomez is in the Dallas County jail with bail set at $500,000.
Police say he was also involved in a gun sale gone wrong in December 2020. That incident left two men dead at the Moulin Rouge Apartments in Oak Cliff, and three people were arrested.
