Nadel’s annual birthday celebration, on Thursday June 2, headlines Cas Haley and Daphne Willis.

Ticket sales benefit the Dallas-based nonprofit Grant Halliburton Foundation.

Here’s a description of what the foundation does, from their website:

Since 2006, Grant Halliburton Foundation has trained more than 250,000 students, teachers, parents, and professionals on how to recognize and respond to someone in major distress or suicidal crisis.

We do this through a variety of avenues including education, conferences, collaboration, and encouragement.

The radio voice of the Texas Rangers, Nadel has been calling play-by-play for Dallas’ Major League Baseball team since 1978.

Haley, a singer/songwriter from Paris, Texas, was a runner up on America’s Got Talent. Willis is a co-founder of Nadel’s birthday benefit, best known for her song “Somebody’s Someone.”
