When Epiphany the boutique loaded up its awesome T-shirts and moved to Beverly Hills, I wondered where in the ‘hood I was going to buy all the cool hyperlocal gear with witty slogans now. Well my problems in that arena are solved. Bullzerk — the locally owned “Dallas sh**t company” that opened on Greenville Ave in 2015 — has branched into Bishop Arts, with a new location at 332 West Davis.

When the flagship store opened, co-owner Dan Bradley told the Advocate that he comes up with the sayings on Bullzerk Ts, hats, stickers, et. al., tailoring them to the shopper in a particular area.

“Our designs change to our audience,” he said. “When people ask what we are, I say we let our audience tell us what we are. In essence, we’re a gift shop for locals.”

Indeed, “It’s always sunny in South Dallas,” reads the shirt in the window on opening weekend.

Bullzerk, which Bradley owns with wife Kari Bradley, started with one manual printing press in the back of a converted dive bar on Lowest Greenville, according to company literature and past articles.

“It’s transformed into DFW’s No. 1 gift shop,” the owners note, “selling t-shirts, hoodies, hand-sewn patched hats and much, much more. We even still print every shirt manually at our warehouse location on Hall Street.”

Bullzerk often partners with local charities to create unique T designs, investing proceeds back to those nonprofits. To date they estimate they have donated over $300,000 to various local charities.

Right now they are selling Uvalde memorial shirts and donating 100% of proceeds to Robb Elementary Memorial fund.

The Bishop Arts location makes seven places to shop Bullzerk plus aforementioned base of operations on Hall.
