District 1 Dallas City Council member Chad West will host a town hall meeting Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. at Tyler Street Church, 927 West 10th Street.
“My plan is to get everyone out of there by 7 p.m., or right after that, to watch the election results come in,” West says.
Dallas Police Department Chief Eddie Garcia will be on hand to discuss crime and policing. Representatives from code enforcement, sanitation and parks and recreation will be there to answer questions and remark on the state of the city and neighborhood.
At the start of the meeting, West says he plans to deliver a special recognition to former Advocate Oak Cliff editor Rachel Stone, for her painstaking coverage of our nook of the city.
