Well folks, it’s that time of year where a sweet looking girl holding a tantalizing box of cookies makes you wonder if your New Year’s diet is really that important after all.

This Friday marks the start of Girl Scout cookie season, and if you’re fiending for a thin mint, the Advocate has you covered.

The Girl Scout website has a zipcode based cookie locator that will help you find the nearest Scout slinging Samoas (or whatever your cookie of choice is.)

For now the zipcode locator will show you the stands where Girl Scout troops are selling cookies, but starting Feb. 17 you will be able to make digital orders directly from a specific Scout.

Starting Feb. 27, the new Raspberry Rally cookie will be available for digital order. The Girl Scouts say the cookie is a “berry twist on an old thin-mint favorite” and that supply is limited, so it will only be available for online purchase.

We’ve gone ahead and found a couple locations (for research purposes, of course) but rest assured there are dozens of selling points across the neighborhood.

Dolly on Bishop: Starting Jan. 14, this Bishop Arts store known for vintage clothing will open it’s doors to the Girl Scouts every weekend through February.

Trinity Groves Park: If you’re up for a trip North of I-30, you can get your hands on some cookies on Jan. 14. Trinity Groves Park will host a booth this weekend and next weekend.

S. Hampton Tom Thumb: Grocery stores are a classic stomping ground for Girl Scouts selling cookies, and the Tom Thumb on S. Hampton has you covered. Starting Jan. 27, that is. Starting the last weekend of January, Scouts will be on location on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Wheatland Rd Sam’s Club: It doesn’t take a membership to get your hands on some cookies. The locator is showing the Girl Scouts will be at Sam’s Club on weekdays, in addition to weekends, starting Jan. 27.

Singleton Autozone: If you’re hoping to get through the month of January before you start snacking on sugar again, Autozone on Singleton Blvd. has you covered. They will have a booth starting Feb. 2 for select days throughout the month.
