Dallas police found a person who had been shot and died in a creek in central Oak Cliff, police said Wednesday.
Police identified the victim as a 16-year-old female.
Police responded to a call reporting a body in the creek at the 1700 block of Brookhaven Drive around 10:00 a.m. Monday morning. Fire-Rescue units found the victim dead at the scene, and said she suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say there is no suspect information at this time, and a homicide investigation is ongoing.
