The brewery was started by East Dallas’ own White Rock Alehouse & Brewery, and Oak Cliff and West Dallas residents who visit the new spot may notice a slight difference in the establishments. At White Rock Brewing Co., pizza is the menu’s main focus, with salads and small bite sides finishing out the culinary options.

And of course, beer is the beverage to choose from. Options range from IPAs to lagers, blondes, sours and weiss’s. A flight of four taster sized beers costs just $8.

Dogs are welcome on the open patio space at White Rock, and the brewery’s Instagram hints at a brunch menu coming soon.

Food and beer is ordered and paid for via QR code, with a server bringing things out to the table.

For the next week the brewery will open at 4 p.m. every day for a soft launch, but starting April 20 hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday.

White Rock Brewing Co. is adjacent to The Langford community and part of the West Commerce Gateway, a mixed-use outfit which includes about 315 apartment units and 12,700 square feet of single-story freestanding restaurant and retail space.

The Beckley brewery is across the street from Trinity Skyline Trail and the Trinity Overlook, so it promises the same type of atmosphere as the scenic East Dallas location (with less traffic jams).
