The orchestra’s Symphony in the City program celebrated 25 years in 2022, and regularly makes a stop at Kidd Springs Park, weather permitting.

The show will open with a performance by the Herbie Johnson Quartet.

The Quartet is a part of the City of Dallas Community Artist Program (CAP) program, which provides artist resources to minority artists and nonprofits that teach, perform and exhibit shows around Dallas.

Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs and snacks for the show, which will begin at 8:15 p.m.
