The performers, known as mall walkers, are heading to several locations in Dallas-Fort Worth to play games and offer free prizes and tickets to The Real Unreal.

In Dallas, the mall walkers will be in the Bishop Arts District 3-5 p.m. June 24. They’ll be in Deep Ellum 3-5 p.m. June 26.

Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Meow Wolf is an arts and entertainment company that provides immersive art experiences.

The North Texas experience, called The Real Unreal, will open July 14 in Grapevine. Several people with Oak Cliff ties played a role in its creation, the Advocate previously reported; they include Brent Ozaeta and those from the Tin District Studios near Bataan and Singleton, such as Will Heron, Desiree Vaniecia, Ricardo Paniagua, Carmen Menza, Dan Lam and Zeke Williams.
