Sanchez Garcia, 25, was identified as a suspect in the murders through evidence gathered by detectives, police say. Police say Sanchez Garcia will be charged with three counts of murder.

The arrest comes just 24 hours after Dallas police issued a warning to the public about a potential connection between the murders.

The most recent victim, who police have not identified, was found on the evening of July 15 in a field in the 800 block of Brazos Street, police say.

Cherish Gibson, 25, and Kimberly Robinson, 60, were found in the 200 block of Santa Fe Avenue, just two miles from the most recent victim, on June 24 and April 22, respectively.

A July 17 autopsy by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the woman’s death a homicide.

Sanchez Garcia did not appear to have been processed into the Dallas County Jail at the time of publication.
