According to Dallas Police, the crash occurred around 11:10 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Davis Street after a man driving a sedan eastbound lost control of the vehicle after racing another vehicle.

The sedan crossed the center median and crashed into an SUV, which was then hit by a second truck, police said.

Police said the unidentified man who was driving the sedan died at the scene, and the SUV driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The passengers in the truck were unharmed.

Police have not identified the driver of the vehicle racing with the sedan, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
