Madise, a Lancaster High School graduate and former TCU wide receiver, brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to Hillcrest. He was drafted into the NFL by the Denver Broncos in 2003 and later played for the San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans.

After his four-year NFL following the 2010 season, he began coaching at Red Oak, Lincoln, Dallas Skyline, Woodrow Wilson, West Mesquite, South Oak, Lamar, C.E King, and back to South Oak Cliff.

He succeeds Hillcrest’s head coach and athletic coordinator Jacob Ramon, who has been with the Panthers for six seasons. The announcement for his leave was made last fall through a school newsletter. Prior to coaching at Hillcrest, Ramon brought his 23 years of experience in education and coaching at different high schools across Texas.

Madise will assume his new role at Hillcrest during the upcoming season.
