After 10 years of selling cakes in Trinity Groves, Cake Bar is moving down the road to bigger pastures.
The cake shop is moving to a storefront at 2629 N. Stemmons Fwy near the Medical District that is twice the size of their current space, owner Tracy German told WFAA.
“This has been a blessing for ten years. We’ve stayed consistent, and the people of Dallas have made us very successful,” German told the news station.
The expanded space will be a welcome step forward for the company. German said she produces around 266 cakes per day, and sells over 3,000 slices each weekend day. The new space will better accommodate that demand, and have room for seating so that customers are able to dine in.
The new location will open March 21, WFAA reports.
