The Oak Cliff Assembly will host the fourth annual Art Walk on July 6th from 2-8 p.m.
The Art Walk is an inclusive event that provides a platform for local artists to showcase their work in a non-traditional setting and without the weight of gallery costs and fees.
The deadline to submit artwork for the event is June 3, and the group is looking for all ages, skill sets, and mediums, including canvas, paint, textiles, ceramic, sculpture, metal, photography, and more.
The Oak Cliff Assembly has had plans approved to change the theater space to make it more functional for performing arts. By the end of the summer, the Oak Cliff Assembly theater space will include a lobby and an additional classroom while closing in the stage to be more suitable for performing arts. The Art Walk will be the last event in the space before the changes.
