The Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts at Turner House will host the Summer Solstice Soiree – Cocktails and Constellations on June 20 from 6 to 10 p.m.
The evening will celebrate the sun reaching its annual zenith and will be an action-packed evening of fundraising for Turner House renovations, installing new leadership, food, and more.
Fundraising has allowed the Society of Fine Arts to make several updates and repairs to Turner House, but more needs to be done to ensure it is available for future generations.
The historic Turner House was opened to the public in the summer of 2003 for event rentals and hosts weddings, anniversary and birthday parties, recitals, workshops, memorial services, holiday parties, scholarship ceremonies, tea parties and book clubs.
The party’s dress code is “snappy cocktail attire” with a nod to your favorite heavenly body. The night will feature live entertainment, including live music from the Revelers Hall Band and Becky Middleton and astrological readings from Activated Astrology. There will also be raffles and live auctions.
Tickets can be purchased online, and no on-site ticket sales will be available.
