The Dallas Police Department is looking for information regarding a shooting death near Five Mile Creek.
No arrest has been announced in the early Sunday morning shooting that left one man, identified by police as 31-year-old Patrick Lee Island II, dead.
Around 4 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a shooting call near the intersection of W. Pentagon Parkway and S. Westmoreland Road.
Police say they found Island lying shot on the ground. According to DPS, Dallas Fire Rescue responded, but the victim died at the scene.
No other details on the shooting are available and the investigation remains ongoing.
