PhD – Pour House Dallas

1300 W Davis St

Pour House Dallas has been Oak Cliff’s local sports bar for over nine years. Owner Eric Tschetter has lived in the area for over 20 years and has taken the rich culture of Oak Cliff and created a place for locals and outsiders alike to hang out with friends, enjoy great food and drinks, and watch sporting events or enjoy live music.

On Friday, PhD will have all-day, live coverage of the opening ceremonies begins at 12:30 p.m., with an enhanced replay at 6:30 p.m.

Jaquval

312 W Seventh St

Jaquval is another great spot to catch sporting events in Oak Cliff. The owners of Jaquval are also the owners of Oddfellows, the all-day cafe and wine bar next door, and Revelers Hall. The brew pub offers a range of in-house crafted beers and a menu full of hearty, satisfying dishes.

The brewery is hosting an opening ceremony watch party starting at 12:30 p.m., and they encourage guests to come decked out in Team USA’s colors or the attire of any country they want to support. Guests can also enjoy their favorite beer from Jaquval’s main stays or any of their rotational brews and pair it with fish & chips for just $15.

Sportsbook

233 W 7th Street

Looking to try something new? Sportsbook, located on 7th Street, bills itself as the first true sports bar in Bishop Arts. The bar hosted its grand opening just last month. Their menu is filled with American sports bar classics, matched with a variety of beer and specialty cocktails.

The U.S. Women’s Olympics Soccer Team is set to open the Olympics against Zambia at 2 p.m. Friday, and Sportsbook will have you covered.
