On December 21 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Dream Center Dallas is hosting a grand opening event for their new facility and a Christmas drive to provide families in need with free gifts for their children.
The event is open to the public and will celebrate the unveiling of the newly renovated, historic Gospel Lighthouse Church, originally built in 1948. The Dallas community is invited to attend but must submit an RSVP for the event here. The address is 1900 S Ewing Ave, Dallas, TX 75216.
The historic Gospel Lighthouse Church was renovated by Merriman Anderson Architects and will now serve as a vibrant ministry hub for Dream Center Dallas, offering multiple outreach opportunities to serve and uplift the surrounding community.
Following the grand opening, Dream Center Dallas will host a special Christmas drive event to support Dallas families in need during the holiday season. Starting at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, and continuing while supplies last, families who otherwise may not be able to afford presents to give to their children on Christmas will have the opportunity to select free gifts for kids of all ages.
At the event, families can enjoy the spirit of the season with festive holiday activities and by having their photos taken with Santa.
“The holidays are meant to be a time of celebration, but for many families, it can also bring financial challenges,” says Kacie Kintz, Director of Dream Center Dallas. “We hope that this event offers support and brings joy to Dallas families, allowing them to focus on creating cherished moments with those they love.”
