One person was killed Thursday evening in a shooting in north Oak Cliff, police said.
Dallas police were called at about 11:15 p.m. to the 400 block of South Beckley Avenue, near Cumberland Street. Officers found a person had been shot by an “unknown suspect.”
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the location. The victim died at the scene and police did not publicly identify them.
As of Friday morning, no arrests had been announced, and the investigation is ongoing.
