Winter weather bringing ice and snow has officially hit North Texas, prompting many school, business and restaurant closures. But several spots in Oak Cliff are staying open if you need to grab a bite to eat.
La Bodega Rotisserie
Owner Skye McDaniel said her Oak Cliff counter restaurant is open for lunch Thursday and Friday, closing at 3 p.m. La Bodega will have rotisserie chickens and chicken veggie soup.

Taco y Vino
Taco y Vino is offering a “cold snap special” during the cold weather. The special comes with a bowl of sopa de pollo, jalapeño artichoke dip and a bottle of red wine for $35.
The restaurant will be open during regular hours — “We ain’t afraid of no snow!” they posted on their Instagram story Thursday morning.

Trades Delicatessen
Trades Delicatessen in Bishop Arts is open during the storm, they said on Instagram. Grab some made-from-scratch loaded potato soup to stay warm.
