In May 2024, the restaurant formerly known as Beckley 1115 rebranded to “Swank: A Neighborhood Restaurant.” Swank will now close as part of an expansion and rebranding, with their last dinner service being July 26.
Swank featured the same menu and interior as Beckley 1115. The transition came about a year removed from Chef Luke Rogers replacing world master chef Sharon Van Meter.
Rogers will be relocating to a new space at 218 W. Commerce St., on the street level of the new Langford at Trinity Groves apartment building, where it will open in 2026.
Taking the place of Swank is Elephant Indian Grill from chef Praveen Prasannan. This will be their second location in addition to their spot at 4154 N. Central Expressway. The menu features Indian classics such as chicken tikka masala, butter masala, tandoori, and a variety of biryani.
Prasannan is also opening an Elephant to-go spinoff in the Park Cities, at 5601 W. Lovers Ln. #110.
