The Kessler Theater will host the Texas-born, two-time Grammy winner David Garza on Friday, Dec. 26.
This performance marks his fifth annual December show which is now a Dallas tradition.
First making his mark in the Deep Ellum scene of the ’80s alongside Clay Pendergrass, Garza continues to perform true to his Metroplex roots nearly four decades into his career. His work fuses the virtuosity of Brave Combo and Ten Hands with the communal spirit of New Bohemians.
This year, Garza launched Lost & Found 2005-2025, a series of twelve albums over twelve months.
For Friday’s Kessler performance, Garza will be joined with Michael Hale on drums and Clay Pendergrass on bass. Without an opener, the performance will include two sets of “Dah-Veed hits” from his catalog of over 400 songs across 30 albums.
Tickets are still available here for standing room only and the reserved gallery (open seating).
