Two Oak Cliff high school students won $2,500 scholarships in a design contest sponsored by the Dallas Streetcar Project.
Marco Moreno, a student at Sunset, and Murali Subramanian, a student at the School of Science and Engineering at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center, submitted concept drawings of a streetcar station as well an essay describing their designs.
Along with the scholarships, Moreno and Subramanian won internships with the streetcar project.
