The Fort Worth-based ice cream shop that hosted a temporary store here a few years ago is opening a permanent location in Bishop Arts.

Melt Ice Creams is leasing 405 N. Bishop, the space next to Eno’s Pizza Tavern that currently operates as Eno’s beer-and-wine store. The owners told Culuremap that they plan to open in the fall.

The location is a block away from Azucar Ice Cream Co., the Miami-based ice cream shop that opened about two months ago.

It’s also in shouting distance to Dude Sweet Chocolate, which sometimes makes ice cream. And it’s two blocks from CocoAndré Chocolatier, another locally owned chocolate shop where you can get house-made ice cream on a concha.

And then there’s Betty Ringer Ice Cream down the hill at Sylvan Thirty (the owner of that shop is a chocolatier too).

Oh, and Espumoso serves Dryer’s.

Speaking of which, there is no shortage of places to get coffee in Bishop Arts, either. Besides Espumoso, Oddfellows, the Wild Detectives and Cretia’s, two new places that serve coffee recently arrived in Bishop Arts — Tribal All Day Cafe and Serve.
