Would-be thieves attempted to steal five ATMs in Dallas over three hours Friday.
Two of the attempted thefts happened in Oak Cliff, one in the 100 block of West Jefferson and one in the 2200 block of South Beckley.
In two of the theft attempts, witnesses described the crooks as four men in a white Ford F-250 pickup truck. In another, it was a white van. And in two others, it was a dark pickup.
