Gerardo Sanchez, a Walmart auto technician, is running on a socialist/worker’s rights platform.
Sanchez told The Advocate that he relocated to Dallas about three years ago to organize for the Socialist Workers Party. Originally from Mexico, he says he’s lived in several cities around the United States for the same purpose.
