A man was arrested Tuesday after being linked to a fatal shooting last month in central Oak Cliff, police say.
Terrance Lowe, 22, is now being held at Dallas County Jail for 22-year-old Davion Clines’ death, according to The Dallas Morning News.
Clines’ body was found May 24 just before 6 p.m. in the 1900 block of Berkeley Avenue, police say. Officers found him in an alley, where he lay unconscious with a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue, officials say.
Clines allegedly met with Lowe in a parking lot to sell marijuana about an hour prior to his murder, according to arrest records obtained by Fox 4 News. Police believe Lowe kidnapped Clines in his Jeep Renegade, which was found with blood in the rear passenger seat after 11:30 p.m. the same day.
Lowe remains in jail without bond and faces a murder charge, Dallas County Jail records show. It is unclear as to how police were directed to him as the suspect.
